The challenge
Problem
As a rapidly growing manufacturer, the client was throttled by their own success. Their operations relied on 15-year-old legacy VBA software that caused daily crashes, and their field teams used an outdated iOS app that lacked real-time connection to headquarters.
What we built
Solution
We enhanced an internal field service platform to streamline templating and installation workflows while improving speed and visibility across the operation. We expanded the iOS app with new functionality and modules, including inventory-related workflows that reduce process gaps and enable cleaner operational execution.
We modernized the scheduling engine by migrating legacy VBA logic to C# and using multi-threading to improve processing performance. We also designed web pages that visualize routes, calendars, and maps, enabling teams to view optimized plans quickly and make decisions with clearer context. The result is a more scalable operational toolset that supports process automation and continued digital transformation.
